The seventh reason Christians shouldn’t worry is because God is in control. Stated another way, God is sovereign. One dictionary defines sovereign as “possessing supreme power; being unlimited in extent; having complete independence and freedom to do as one desires.” Daniel 4:35 (NIV) says, “All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. The fifth reason Christians shouldn’t worry is because God has the power to handle our problems. In Jeremiah 32:27 (NIV), God says, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” The answer to this question is a resounding “NO!” There are no problems God cannot solve, no situations He cannot fix, and no circumstances from which He cannot deliver us.
